When braking, the entire brake system heats up. This heat is transmitted to the brake fluid and condensation is created in the hoses.
The color of the liquid then turns brownish. Loaded with water, its efficiency becomes insufficient, and in about two years, you lose about 5 meters under braking, which is more than considerable. So dangerous!!!

Brake fluid tester to detect humidity
How to check fluid quality:

Press the button for power, the green LED lights up

Insert the tester into the tank for one second, then the results will be indicated correctly by the LEDs

Auto power off

Its principle is as follows: a compact plastic probe case examines the electrical conductivity of the fluid, on the basis of the quantity of water contained in it.

The correct value must be less than 2%

On the packaging a table indicates the levels of pollution – green: less than 1% (very good), green/yellow: 1% (in good condition),

green/yellow/yellow: 2% (replacement is recommended), green/yellow/yellow/red: 3% (replacement is recommended),

green/yellow/yellow/red/red: 4% (to be replaced)
