“ Liquefied Petroleum Gas ” has come a long way since its advent. Used for a host of applications and in several fields such as metallurgy, agriculture and even in cooking, it has acquired its letters of nobility in the field of transport by making available boats, vehicles, hot air balloons... LPG fuel. The vehicles even have the possibility of having an LPG system integrated. Always concerned about environmental protection and ensuring good durability for vehicles having undergone this transformation, LPG engine lubricants were then made available to them, of which here are some advantages:

  • They protect the engines of your vehicles from wear and tear ;
  • They ensure maximum efficiency for your vehicle engines;
  • They allow you to save fuel;
  • The overheating of your engines that you are often confronted with is a thing of the past;
  • Environmentally friendly, these lubricants while cleaning the engine significantly reduce harmful exhaust emissions;
  • They allow you to get started quickly;
  • Frequent use of LPG Engine Lubricant extends engine life.

Maintenance of an LPG vehicle

Maintaining an LPG vehicle cannot be done without the use of LPG lubricant . We have already taken care to inform you more about the benefits it provides for your car. Indeed, the LPG installation being specific, its maintenance must be too. After a certain number of kilometres, you must carry out the overhaul of your engine with a good oil change. It should be noted that LPG motor oil which is highly recommended retains its lubricating properties in the engine for a long time.

The different kinds of LPG lubricants

These are lubricants which have been developed mainly to replace lead in order to reduce the galling of valves and their seats. We can distinguish between V LUBE lubricants, FLASHLUBE lubricants and VALVE CARE lubricants. Let's introduce a few:

  • Standard mechanical Vlube doser + 500 ml Eco additive : it is a doser which diffuses an additive into the engine to prevent corrosion of the valves and valve seats.
  • LPG additive for Top Oiler and Flash Lube : it ensures the lubrication and cleaning of the top of the cylinders which have not been lubricated by engine oil.
  • Additive Flash Lube Lubricant GPL 5L Valves : protects the valves against the rise in temperature on the LPG engine.

V LUBE, FLASHLUBE and VALVE CARE lubricants have been specially designed to replace lead, in order to minimize wear on valves and valve seats on certain engines recognized as fragile.
