VALVE

The valves of an internal combustion engine ensure that the engine can "breathe" properly to achieve peak performance. Metal sub-components open and close millions of times. This means that the valves themselves and the seats they sit on are worn out. Environmental goals, as well as subsequent measures such as EGR and lean fuel, increasingly result in valves and seats wearing even faster and becoming increasingly contaminated and therefore improperly sealed.

JLM Lubricants has developed additives that lubricate valves and valve seats so they wear less quickly while the engine continues to perform optimally. There are specific additives for diesel engines, gasoline engines and gas engines. Preventive use of additives as a maintenance product increases engine life and significantly reduces the risk of costly repairs.
