Impco 12V Start Assist Solenoid Valve

This type of part is generally called a “start assist valve” or 12V start assist solenoid valve for IMPCO regulators. It is used on LPG/propane systems , and its role is to improve the mixture enrichment to facilitate cold starting , much like a “cold start” solenoid valve on a gasoline engine.

📌 Main function:

  • During startup, this solenoid valve opens to provide a fuel boost or enrichment , facilitating engine starting in cold weather or when the engine is cold.

📌 Compatible with:

  • IMPCO controllers (models J, E, L or compatible controllers) where an assist solenoid valve is required for more efficient starting.

✔ It requires a 12V power supply suitable for installation on the vehicle or device.
