Description

Rack ball joint extractor 35/45mm-
commonly called “tulip”

The axial ball joint extractor is a tool made up of a long tube allowing the tie rod to be inserted therein to access the axial ball joint. Its end has a hexagonal recess for the location of a tightening sleeve.
The other end of the tool includes the circular casing of the ball joint and allows, thanks to a locking system, its screwing or unscrewing.

Thanks to its concentric roller jaws, it can grip any rod end measuring 35-45mm.
It covers most car models.

Bar can be driven by ½” or 27mm ratchet

Tool to remove or install tie rods with axles from 35 mm to 45 mm
To unlock or lock the axial ball joints at the end of the steering rack

The long axle helps to protect the bodywork from damage caused by the key. It hooks the inner ends of the rods which have incomplete or inaccessible flat ends or which do not have any.
