  • THE CONTROLLERS IN THE OBD VERSION ARE AN IDEAL SOLUTION TO FACILITATE THE WORK OF THE INS TA LLATOR. THEY ARE USED IN CARS SOLD IN EUROPE AFTER 2001. THE OBD (ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC) MODULE GIVES AN OVERVIEW OF ENGINE OPERATING PARAMETERS - MAINLY IN THE CURRENT FUEL MIXTURE. PLUS, IT PROVIDES ACCESS TO COMPLETE ENGINE DIAGNOSTICS. THE ZENIT BLACK BOX CONTROLLER IN THE OBD VERSION ALLOWS EFFICIENT GAS REGULATION. IN ADDITION, FOR VALVETRONIC ENGINES, REGULATION WITH ZENIT BLACK BOX IS SIGNIFICANTLY FASTER AND MORE ACCURATE THAN CLASSIC REGULATION AFTER THE INJECTION TIMES.

    The advantage of using the OBD module is the possibility of using the automatic correction, i.e. the function, which makes the gas controller take care of the composition of the mixture. This is because it reads data from the car's computer. The OBD module allows the reading and potential erasing of errors in the car's computer. Simply put - it replaces the diagnostic scanner, which is an additional external device. For the installer, this is a great convenience and time saving on the regulation of the installation - he uses a device in a multifunctional way. The measurable benefit of using the OBD module is the application of the perfect mixture for the engine.

    The OBD module of the Black Box controller supports CAN and K-LINE protocols. CAN is mainly found in newer vehicles and K-LINE mainly in older ones, although there are exemptions to this rule. The possibility of communication via both protocols, which is provided by Zenit Black Box, is a guarantee that the controller will connect to every car, regardless of its age.
