In some modern cars, the fuel level is determined when the engine is started based on sensor readings in the fuel tank. The fuel level indication on the driver's gauge is corrected by the gasoline computer according to the current consumption resulting from the gasoline injection times. In this case, when driving on gasoline, the gasoline level indicator in the car shows the loss of fuel in the tank even if the fuel is not consumed. Through the use of the EPP emulator, the fuel level indication will be restored to its actual state each time the engine is started.

The small dimensions of the device and the airtight housing allow the device to be mounted at the level of the fuel tank, where the emulator can be exposed to weather conditions.

The table shows examples of vehicle models where it is advisable to use the EPP fuel level emulator. Some cars may have different plugs than described in the manual.

In cars not listed in the table, where there is a virtual fuel loss problem, the emulator must be connected according to diagram 3.

The correct fuel level signal line can be found using a voltmeter (the voltage changes with the change in fuel level in the tank). As a general rule, the good thread is thinner than the others.
